Saudi Airlines check-in

Saudi Airlines flights have what options for check-in?

Saudi Airlines check-in offers four options before or after arriving at the airport:

  • Web check-in
  • Mobile check-in
  • Airport kiosk check-in
  • Airport counter check-in

Is there a deadline for checking in at the check-in counter?

Saudi Airlines check-in counters are open three hours before scheduled departure for international flights and two hours for domestic flights. If you are flying internationally, you should arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before departure and for domestic flights, 90 minutes before departure. For international flights, check-in counters close 45 minutes before departure, while domestic flights close one hour before departure.

Boarding gates close 20 minutes before scheduled departure times for international flights and 15 minutes before scheduled departure times for domestic flights. Passengers must be at the boarding gate 1 hour before departure.

Before arriving at Saudi Airport, the following travel paperwork must be prepared:

  • An identification card issued by the government or a valid passport
  • E-ticket number
  • Flight details for Saudia Airlines

Web Check-in

Saudi offers web check-in between 24 hours and 3 hours before flight departure for the following flights:

  • Flights within the country.
  • International flights are selected.
  • Only passengers with an e-Ticket are confirmed.

It is not currently possible to Saudi Arabian check in via the Web if you require an extra seat, a wheelchair, a pet, or support for visual or hearing impairments. This is also true if you are traveling with an unaccompanied minor.

In several countries, Saudi Airlines is required to provide passenger data to immigration, customs, and security authorities. For a boarding card to be issued, all required information must be entered into the booking. The passenger must verify their travel documents at the check-in desk 2 hours before departure for international flights only. In addition, the owner of the credit card used for payment must be present at check-in.

Passengers carrying baggage that needs to be checked in should proceed to Baggage Drop (the counter designated for passengers who have used Web Check-in) or any available counter.
