How can I check in when traveling with JetBlue Airways?

JetBlue Airways Web Check-In
You can access online web check-in 24 hours before departure time and stop 60 minutes before departure.

- Go to JetBlue air main webpage (https://www.jetblue.com).
- Click on the Check-in options.
- Fill out the passenger’s name and confirmation number.
- Please select the Continue button.
- Download your boarding card from JetBlue Airways.

JetBlue Airways Mobile Check-in

A Mobile Boarding Pass is an encrypted two-dimensional barcode containing customer and flight information that can be scanned by TSA security officers at all domestic and select international airports in the U.S.
A Mobile Boarding Pass can only be used once per smartphone. You can reprint your boarding pass at a kiosk or ask a JetBlue crewmember for assistance if your boarding pass cannot be used.

- There is a limit of one boarding pass per smartphone.

Once you’ve checked in with the app and the system confirms your details, your mobile boarding pass will appear as a barcode on the screen. Save it on your smartphone so you can present it at the airport.

A growing number of cities are now offering passengers the option to check in at hotels, convention centers, parking or rental car areas, and cruise ship piers through JetBlue’s partnership with BAGS Inc. Depending on the location, JetBlue Remote Check-in requires you to check in and drop off your bags at least 2 hours before your flight. The fee ranges from $0 to $20. As part of the Remote Check-in Program, JetBlue offers check-in on cruise ships at Orlando International Airport – MCO (Port Canaveral), Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport – FLL (Port Everglades and Port of Miami), and San Diego International Airport – SAN (Port of San Diego).).

In case you are traveling with checked baggage, you can check in at a self-service kiosk from 6 hours before departure to your check-in deadline, or if you are traveling without checked baggage, you can check in from 24 hours before departure until your check-in deadline. You can also print out your bag tags (for self-tagging your bags) when checking in at a kiosk.

Self-Service Kiosks At Airports Require The Following:
- Enter any of the following to identify yourself.
- The confirmation code you received
- Barcodes, or.
- The number on your passport, or.
- Details of your credit card.
- The TrueBlue number you use.
- Verify your flight details.
- Select and confirm your seats (optional).
- Please indicate the number of bags you will be carrying.
- Check in.
- Obtain your boarding pass/passes for your flight.
- (Optional) Print a bag tag.

At a kiosk, you can reprint boarding passes.
Checking In At A Kiosk Also Allows You To:
- Change, upgrade, or confirm a seat
- Be sure to add bags

After Checking In, You’ll Receive:
- JetBlue boarding pass printed out
- Bag tags (optional).
A JetBlue crewmember will check your ID and scan and weigh your bags when you drop them off at a bag drop desk.
Kiosk Check-in Not Available for Passengers
It May Not Be Possible To Check In At A Self-Service Kiosk If:
- Cuba is on your itinerary.
- Unconfirmed bookings.
- If you need medical or special assistance to check in, please contact us.
- On an unaccompanied minor’s ticket, you’re traveling.
- You’re flying with a service animal or a pet.
- A group of at least 10 people is traveling with you.
- You’re traveling abroad.
JetBlue Airways Ticket counter Check-in
Ticket counter check-in hours vary by airport1. You cannot check into a JetBlue flight more than four hours before departure. Ticket counter check-in is mandatory for the following passengers:
- Pets and service animals traveling with passengers.
- The party of 10 or more passengers traveling on a group reservation.
- Minors who are unaccompanied.
- When a passenger requests additional assistance at check-in.
- Additional seats purchased by passengers.

- With curbside check-in, JetBlue passengers can check in and drop off their luggage right outside the terminal. Here’s how it works:
- Curb-side check-in: Look for the curb-side check-in area near the departure area or entrance at the airport.
- Check-in at the JetBlue curb-side: Provide your booking information and identification to the JetBlue agent at the curb-side.
- Check baggage: The agent will check your bags. Ensure your luggage meets JetBlue’s baggage policy and is properly tagged.
- The curb-side agent will provide you with your boarding pass once you have completed the check-in process.
- As soon as you have your boarding pass and luggage in hand, proceed to the security checkpoint to begin your journey.
What is JetBlue’s online check-in time?
JetBlue’s Online Check-In Opens 24 Hours Before Departure And Closes:
- For domestic U.S. flights, arrive 40 minutes before departure (with bags).
- For international flights, arrive 60 minutes before scheduled departure (with bags).

Airport Kiosk Check-in Time
The JetBlue kiosk check-in time is as follows:
- When you check in at least six hours before departure.
- You can check in without checked baggage up to 24 hours before your flight departs.
When your flight departs from San Juan, Puerto Rico, it will take 4 hours.
Check-in time at the airport counter
When traveling to/from Cuba, you must check in 4 hours before flight departure, even if you are carrying checked baggage.
Note
- It is not possible to check in more than 4 hours before departure at the airport.
- Always check your ticket before leaving the airport since check-in times can vary.
- Boarding
- Domestic flights close 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
- International flights close 20 minutes before departure.

A gate agent must be notified before general boarding begins if a passenger requires special assistance at boarding.
