What is the check-in time for Hawaiian Airlines?

A wide range of check-in options are available on Hawaiian Airlines:

24 hours before departure, Hawaiian Airlines flights can be checked online (Web & Mobile).

At the airport (Kiosk Check-in, Counter Check-in), starting 4 hours before departure or when check-in stations open:

For neighboring island flights, it takes 30 minutes.
Flights to North America take 45 minutes.
International flights take 60 minutes.

Web check-in is available

Hawaiian Airlines check-in online is available on all Hawaiian Airlines flights, domestic and international. You will need your e-ticket number or confirmation code to check in online.

Check-in using the web by following these steps

Visiting the Hawaiian Airlines website requires you to open your desired web browser and navigate there.
To retrieve booking information, click the “Check-In” tab and enter the required information, which generally consists of your reservation reference code and your full name.
Once you have logged in, you can choose your preferred seat from the available options.
Be sure to review and replace your baggage details. Be sure to follow the airline’s baggage suggestions to avoid inconveniences.
Ensure you have all the essential travel documents, including your ID, passport, visa (if necessary), and any other relevant documents.
Once you check in, you can print or save your boarding pass. A seat assignment is not considered, nor are the fine print, the significant journey, or the small print involved.

There are restrictions

The Web check-in feature is not available for:

Reservations for groups.
Reservations have recently been modified.
Codeshare partners operate the flights.
Paper tickets or tickets not issued, exchanged, or revalidated electronically.
It is not possible to book a one-way international flight (due to visa requirements).
Those traveling with lap infants, unaccompanied minors, bulkhead seat requests, or animals may require special services.

Mobile check-in

Mobile Check-in has the same options and restrictions as Web Check-in. The Check-in is available even if you travel with more than one passenger.

Follow these steps to use Hawaiian Air’s mobile check-in service:

Mobile users can access the Hawaiian App
From the menu, choose Mobile Check-in
Enter your Hawaiian Airlines e-ticket number and surname
Follow the instructions on the screen
Hawaii and North American airports accept mobile boarding passes. You can add the Mobile Boarding Pass to your Passbook or save it to the photo gallery.

Check-in at airport kiosk machines

During check-in, you have to go to the airport and locate the kiosk machine
Start the check-in process by touching the kiosk screen
Please enter your Hawaiian flight e-ticket number and last name
Check your flight details and confirm your check-in
Take a printout of your boarding pass

The documents

The kiosk check-in process requires an E-Ticket number, confirmation code, Hawaiian Miles account number, passport, and boarding pass generated by web/mobile check-in within 24 hours of departure.

The restrictions

There is no kiosk check-in available for:

Reservations for groups.
I modified my reservations recently.
Codeshare partners operate the flights.
Paper tickets are not issued, exchanged, or revalidated electronically.
Visa requirements will make travel one-way.
Requests for special services from passengers: unaccompanied minors, bulkhead seats, passengers traveling with pets.
A person who does not upgrade their seats through Web Check-in.
Those who owe a balance, but lack a credit or debit card.

Check-in for Hawaiian Airlines at the Ticket Counter

Here are the steps for using Hawaiian Air’s ticket counter check-in service:

At the airport, Hawaiian Airlines has a ticket counter.
The counter agent must receive Hawaiian booking confirmations.
Your booking has been verified by the agent
Confirm the check-in request
You will receive your boarding pass from the agent.

The boarding process

Passengers must arrive at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes before their departure time. If they do not arrive at the boarding gate on time, their reservations may be canceled.

From the front to the rear, Hawaiian Airlines uses zone-based boarding to make boarding smooth and efficient. The priority boarding policy has been reinstated, and first-class passengers can board whenever they wish.

The boarding gate is the place to check in strollers and wheelchairs.

At an airport kiosk, you can get a boarding pass

In the check-in area, locate the kiosk machine
Enter your last name, followed by your booking confirmation number.
