What are the check-in options offered by Flydubai?

FlyDubai check-in offers self-service and staffed check-in options:

Check-in online
Check-in with a mobile device.
Check-in at home (only in Dubai).
Check-in at the counter.
Check-in at the kiosk.

When are the FlyDubai check-in and boarding deadlines?

Dubai International Airport Terminal 2 check-in counters open three hours before departure. Economy Class passengers can use counters 2 to 18, while Business Class passengers can use counters 23 and 24.

Flydubai check-in counters close 60 minutes before flight departure, and boarding gates close 20 minutes before flight departure.

Check-in online

FlyDubai’s website and mobile app allow passengers to check in online up to 48 hours before their flight departure time

FlyDubai’s online check-in process is:

Using your email address and password, log into your FlyDubai account if you booked your flight online.
Once you have logged in, select “Check-in” from the menu.
The third step is to fill out your flight details, such as the reference number of your booking, the departure airport, and the destination.
Select your seat: Select the most convenient seat for you.
During online check-in, you can add baggage to your booking if necessary.
Make sure your flight details, seat selection, and baggage allowance are correct.
Check-in: Confirm your check-in and print or save your boarding pass.

Please note that online check-in may not be available for all flights or destinations. Check-in via a mobile device

Follow these steps to use FlyDubai Air mobile check-in:

You can access the Flydubai App on your mobile device
From the menu, select Mobile Check-in
Enter your surname and e-ticket number from your Flydubai flight
Follow the instructions on the screen
Get your Flydubai Air Boarding Card by downloading or saving it to your phone

FlyDubai check-in Home

Home Check-in allows you to check in for your flight from anywhere in Dubai through a partnership with DUBZ. Only flydubai flights departing from Dubai International Airport (DXB) can avail of the home check-in service, and it must be booked at least 6 hours in advance. To check you in and check your baggage, a DNATA agent will arrive at your preferred location between 24 and 4 hours before departure. This will be at the time you select. Home check-in is subject to a fee (not including VAT):

The fee for checking in your luggage is AED 199 (up to 4 bags checked in and boarding passes sent to your home).
Baggage Check-in & Sanitization: 249 AED (up to 4 bags checked-in and disinfected with a long-lasting protective coating, boarding pass, and baggage tag received at home).
Extra bags: AED 40 per additional bag.
Airports charge excess baggage fees.

FlyDubai check-in at the airport

The FlyDubai airport check-in steps are:

Arrive at the airport early to complete your check-in and security formalities before your flight departs.
Locate the FlyDubai check-in counter at your airport’s departure terminal.
Present your travel documents to the FlyDubai check-in agent, such as your passport and visa.
Give your flight details, including your booking reference number and destination.
In addition to checking your baggage, check FlyDubai’s baggage allowances and restrictions. Excess baggage fees may apply if your baggage exceeds these limits.
Check in at Flydubai and receive your boarding pass.
Go to the airport security checkpoint and follow the staff’s instructions.

Please enter your Flydubai flight e-ticket number and your last name
Confirm your check-in details and review your flight details
Take a printout of your boarding pass

Fly Dubai’s Boarding Pass

To board a Flydubai flight, passengers must present both their boarding pass and a government-issued photo ID at the gate.

At an airport kiosk, you can get your boarding pass

Locate the kiosk machine in the check-in area
Enter your last name and booking confirmation number.

Confirm your details by clicking here
Get your Flydubai boarding pass by printing or downloading it

At the airline check-in counter, you can get a boarding pass
