What is the procedure for checking in for a Turkish Airlines flight?

There are several options that you can choose from when checking in for a flight with Turkish Airlines, which are also available for Mobile Boarding Passes on Turkish Airlines flights if they are available. These options are listed below:

If I am checking in at the counter, what is the deadline for checking in?

For international flights, Turkish Airlines requires that you check-in at the counter two hours before departure, and domestic flights require that you check-in one hour before departure. In the case of international flights (120 minutes before departure from Caracas), check-in counters close 60 minutes before departure, while in the case of domestic flights, check-in counters close 45 minutes before departure.

When you check in for your flight, it is critical that you have a boarding pass in your possession and that your baggage has been checked in before the check-in deadline. It is possible to inform a Turkish Airlines employee if you are waiting in line, but you are expecting to arrive too late to check in.

The check-in process can be completed online

A web check-in service is available for passengers on Turkish Airlines’ official website to check in for their flights.
In addition, passengers who are traveling internationally can check in online up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. This option is available to passengers traveling within the United States 3 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Upon arriving at the airport check-in counter, all passengers must have their documents ready for verification before completing the boarding process.
During the web check-in process, passengers will have the option of choosing their seats, adding luggage to their booking, and upgrading their tickets, if necessary.
As soon as the web check-in process is complete, passengers must print out their boarding passes at the airport to present them during boarding.

Mobile Check-In – Check-in through your mobile device

Turkish Airlines (TK) offers a mobile check-in available 24 hours to 90 minutes before departure with its mobile app.
In a single booking, up to 8 passengers can check in using the mobile app.
On the day of travel, you can head straight to the baggage counter by downloading your boarding pass from the mobile app.

How to use the mobile app to check-in

Get the Turkish Airlines app for your mobile device.
Continue by logging in or signing up.
Go to the Manage Bookings tab.
Hit the search button after adding your ticket credentials.
Check-in is done by following the prompts on the screen.
When you enter your information, you will be able to select a seat, choose a meal preference, and add extra luggage.
Your boarding pass and e-ticket will be available for download once the process has been completed.

Turkish Airlines Check-in self-service

Check-in for Turkish Airlines flights begins 12 hours to 60 minutes before departure (domestic) and 75 minutes before departure (international). Passengers can use the self-check-in kiosk to print their tickets, choose a seat, and print their boarding passes. Here are the steps:

Turkish Airlines(TK) Airport Counter check-in

Domestic check-in for Turkish Airlines begins 2 hours 45 minutes before departure, Caracas check-in begins 120 minutes before departure, and international check-in begins 60 minutes before departure.
In any case, you must arrive at the airport at least three hours before your scheduled departure time to complete other formalities if you have checked in online.
If you have checked in online with Turkish Airlines, proceed directly to the airport’s check-in counter.
