CemAir’s check-in process ensures passengers arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure for domestic flights and at least three hours before departure time for international flights. For domestic Cemair flights, you should have your boarding pass 45 minutes before departure, and for international Cemair flights, 60 minutes before departure.

Check-in for your Cemair flight opens 24 hours before departure and closes 60 minutes before departure.

The following travel documents must be arranged before arriving at CemAir airport:

  • Passports or government-issued identification are required
  • The e-ticket number
  • Please provide the name and details of your flight with Cemair air

Check-in via the web with CemAir’s

Online web check-in is available 24 hours before departure time and closes 60 minutes before departure.

  • Visit the CemAir main website (https://cemair.co.za)
  • Select Check-in from the menu
  • Enter relevant information, such as the confirmation number and the name of the passenger
  • Click on the continue button to continue
  • You can download your boarding card from CemAir.

Mobile Check-in with CemAir

Follow these steps to use the CemAir mobile check-in service:

  • From your mobile device, you can access the Cemair App
  • From the menu, select Mobile Check-in
  • Please enter your surname and the e-ticket number of your Cemair flight
  • Follow the instructions on the screen
  • Download your CemAir boarding card now or save it to your phone

Check-in kiosks at airports

You can use CemAir’s check-in kiosks at airports by following these steps:

  • The kiosk machine check-in area is located at the airport
  • Start the check-in process by touching the kiosk screen
  • Please enter the e-ticket number and last name of your Cemair flight.
  • Confirm your check-in details and review your flight details
  • Take a printout of your boarding pass

Check-in at the CemAir Ticket Counter

You can use CemAir’s ticket counter check-in service by following these steps:

  • CemAir’s ticket counter is at the airport.
  • At the counter, present your Cemair booking confirmation.
  • The agent verifies bookings
  • Confirm the check-in request
  • The agent will issue your boarding pass.

To board a Cemair flight, passengers must present their boarding pass and a government-issued photo identification card to the gate agent.

At an airport kiosk, you can get a boarding pass 

  • Check-in at the kiosk machine
  • Then enter your last name and the booking confirmation number.
  • Choose your CemAir flight
  • Verify your details
  • CemAir boarding passes can be printed or downloaded

Check-in at the airline’s counter to get a boarding pass

  • Arrive at the airport
  • Check-in counter for CemAir
  • At the counter, show your ticket to the agent
  • An agent will verify your booking and confirm your check-in
  • Your boarding pass is now available
