What is the process for checking in for a Blue Panorama flight?
Blue Panorama check-in offers two ways to check-in:
- Web Check-in.
- Counter for check-in.
Check-in via the web
Those traveling on domestic or international flights to or from Greece may check-in online between 15 days and 2 hours before departure. To do so, they must enter their booking code (PNR) and their last name.
The Web check-in process requires an assigned seat, but free seat assignment is only available 24 hours before departure.
Some passengers cannot use the Web check-in service even if the above requirements are met.
- Minor passengers.
- Those traveling with infants (children under the age of two years).
- Passengers with disabilities or who are blind.
- A passenger who is blind or requires special assistance at the airport.
- Travelers with pets in their cabins.
It is available for adult passengers. However, passengers traveling with hand baggage that is the required size and weight can proceed directly to the boarding gate. To register their baggage before the deadline for counter check-in at the airport, passengers traveling with checked baggage must proceed to the check-in counters at the airport.
Blue Panorama check-in at Counter
Before the flight departs, passengers must arrive at the airport in time for check-in:
- For Blue-Express flights, check-in desks open 2 hours before departure. The deadline for check-in is:
- 35 minutes before domestic flights depart.
- 45 minutes before international flights.
- Blue Panorama flights to the Caribbean and Africa, and all intercontinental flights, open 3 hours before departure and close 90 minutes before departure.
Checking in for more than one flight at a time is impossible. Passengers must complete all acceptance procedures (boarding pass receipt and luggage registration) separately for each flight.
Boarding
The boarding gate will not accept checking, and passengers must go there at least:
- Blue Panorama check-in requires passengers to arrive at least 25 minutes before the scheduled departure for domestic and European flights marketed under the “Blue-Express” low-cost brand.
- 45 minutes before the scheduled departure on Blue Panorama flights to the Caribbean, the Americas, Africa, and the Far East, and generally on all intercontinental flights.
The airline reserves the right to cancel the passenger’s seat if the passenger arrives over the specified time limit. There is no refund for tickets not used. It is recommended to check in early and be at the boarding gate by the scheduled departure time.
Alternatively, you can take a scheduled flight home if you miss the outbound flight, including domestic flights in Italy, flights to Europe, and flights to Sal, Cape Verde, under the “Blue-Express” low-cost brand. One-way fares are used to purchase airline tickets. The result of purchasing round-trip airline tickets for international scheduled flights to the Caribbean and Africa, as well as general intercontinental flights, will be an automatic cancellation of the booking for the return flight if the passenger is denied boarding on the outbound flight (for which a refund may be required according to the fare purchased).
